Thousand Islands Photos - 2023

 Aboard the Alexandria Belle

July 30, 2023

Remaining on the second deck, seated at a table and looking out from the starboard side, the views of each island was beautiful. The constant breeze provided a comfortable cruise. Most folks opted for the upper deck and the heat of the sun that came with it.

With each passing island came our tour guide's voice describing its name and historical significance. Every island is owned. Personally, I viewed each and tried to decide which one I'd like to own...after winning the lottery, of course. But then, not being into boats, would I want to rely on a boat to travel to and from "my" island?

Boldt Castle. We would anchor on the back side, disembark and for the $21.00 entrance fee, gain access into an era where money was of no concern.

Bulk carrier CSL St. Laurent built in 2014 is 739' long as seen sailing past Boldt Castle.

Boldt's children, Clover and George Junior's playhouse.

This owner decided on a man-made waterfall
